NOTE:  Due to a high volume of orders at the moment, please allow an extra 2-4 business days for your order to be dispatched and then extra time for Australia Post to deliver your parcel.

Local Threads is committed to your 100% satisfaction and aims to always provide you with the latest local fashion that are of the highest quality! If your purchase is not delivered as described or if it does not quite fit, simply return the item/s within 7 days of receiving your order for a hassle-free refund.
 

OUR RETURN POLICY

We want you to be happy with your purchase as you support local fashion with us! If you are not satisfied with your purchase, we will accept returns within 45 days of receiving your order for a hassle-free refund.  We will accept returns and exchanges on full-priced items, please ensure returned items are in their original unworn, unwashed condition with all tags intact. We reserve the right to refuse any return if the product shows signs of wear, has been used or altered from its original condition in any way.

We will not accept any returns under the following circumstances:

  • Due to health and hygiene regulations, we cannot exchange Maternity Pads, Nursing Pads, Dry Wipes or any other item that has been worn.
  • The item has been purchased as a final sale item unless it is deemed faulty;
  • Jewellery, swimwear, underwear, lingerie, all Rusty items, gift cards and non-returnable items (as indicated on our website) unless deemed faulty;
  • The product(s) have been used, worn, damaged or washed;
  • Non-size related reasons for return;
  • Any original tag is not attached to the product(s) and/or
  • You have not returned any packaging which is considered an integral part of a product (such as a dust bag, and any packing material).
  • Your return slip has not been included with the parcel

TERMS OF RETURN

    • Shipping costs to return the item/s must be covered by the customer; 
    • Our Return Policy is in addition to other rights and remedies you may have as a consumer under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL);
    • Certain local brands only allow brand credit refunds (and not a payment refund), e.g. Cantik;
  • Our mission is to support Australian independent brands, which are operating with low stock and low margins. This is why change of mind returns are not accepted as this results in it not being commercially viable to operate.
