Peter Wang is the founder of eSignboard. Let us take a look at how he conceptualised this platform for real estate agents and potential investors/homeowners.

How and when was the brand created? eSignboard

It started from a basic idea - create a service that allows anonymous people to leave information about a certain place, and allows other people to comment on it. Basically, it is like a location-based forum.

I was discussing this idea with my friend who is a sales representative. He said that this function is the same as a signboard real estate agents put in front of a property. Lightbulb! This inspired me to create the business. Why not make this service, particularly for the real estate industry - the signboard must have all the information needed by a potential buyer who can negotiate with the owner with ease. 

So we decided to create eSignboard

What is eSignboard? 

Consider eSignboard as a digitised physical Signboard and much more. It does what all the wood and paper Signboard does - display the photographs and agent contact., plus it generates a unique QR code that allows people to scan - which leads the client directly into the conversation. 

eSginboard helps the real estate agent to spread sales information on the internet and via the social network, greeting the client and asking pre-set questions, so do client acquisition 24hrs, 7 days. All scanned users will be collected as a conversation in a unique chat channel, so no loss of a potential customer. 

Furthermore, eSignboard generates the property popularity and the user score by accumulating the user’s behaviour present as an easy read pie chart. Sales agents should analyse and strategy making based on the data that eSignboard collected. 

What about the tenant or the buyer, what value does eSignboard have for them?

On the other hand, to the buyer or tenant, eSignboard is a collection, communication, and decision-making tool through your property-hunting journey. Each eSignboard is a combination of property information and the negotiation history with a sales representative. 

eSignboard brings all this information together - all properties you scan are collected along with the agent conversation history - you always track clearly which agent is on which property. Furthermore, you know your competitors by reading about the property's popularity and status, which helps you work out your strategy. 


What is the company’s mission and vision?

eSignboard vision is to build up a unique, secure communication channel on each selling/renting property. We want to connect real estate agents and the buyers at the advantage of both parties. 

We hope that in the future, eSignboard will become a data hub and information aggregation portal, focusing on each property sale activity, and organising the real estate agent, buyer, tenant, tradesman, conveyancer, solicitor, etc. in one place. In short, a one-stop-shop for buyers and sellers.

How does a client or a buyer access eSignboard?

There are 3 ways to access the eSignboard:

  1. The agent's pro-active: (a) The real estate agent creates the eSignboard by inputting the property address. (b) Presenting the QR code via sharing or printing out. (c) Let the client scan the QR code, then start chatting.
  2. The buyer/tenant's pro-active: (a) The buyer/tenant creates the un-assigned eSignboard by giving the address and the sale agent's contact number or email. (b) eSignboard sends a message or email to notify the sales agent. (c) The sales agent clicks the link to claim the property eSignboard and then starts chatting.
  3. Visiting websites featured eSignboards (a) Go to (b) Click ‘Find xxx on the eSignboard’ or ‘Chat Now’ then start chatting.
